Welcome to OpenWare.org

OpenWare.org is a website dedicated to the promotion and use of open source web development and support tools. I believe that most organizations (whether for profit or nonprofit) will either want or need a web presence in the future. My philosophy is that the tools needed to have a web presence should be as accessible as possible. By accessible I mean both in terms of ease of use and price.

The first tangible support for my philoshopy is the release of a web application load testing tool, called LoadSim. It has all of the core functionality that professional implmenentaions have without the cost. I encourage you to check this tool out and provide feedback to me via my SourceForge hosted project.

Other tools will be released soon, including a simple to use object-to-relational mapping system and a web presentation layer framework for developing model/view/controller based web frontends.
